Co-owner
Debbie grew up in Skagit Valley and in this business. She worked in sales and design for twelve years before she bought out her father’s portion of the business in 2003. She is very proud to carry on her father’s legacy of building a successful business and serving the local community.
Debbie’s passion is all about “people,” and it shows in everything she does. She is extremely grateful for her family, her community, and the loyal employees and customers she serves.
Co-owner
Lisa was born and raised in Mount Vernon and has been with our store since 1986. She has used her innate organizational skills and extensive experience to manage every facet of the operation effectively and efficiently.
She believes we are responsible to our founders, community, employees, and customers to always do our very best. In Lisa’s eyes, “This is more than a business…it’s our life, family, and legacy.”
General Manager
We fondly refer to John as “Our Company Coach.” John has been in the industry and with our company since 1996. He grew up here, starting in the warehouse and now serving as our General Manager.
John is involved in every facet of the business. His steadfast commitment to the Mount Vernon Carpet One Team and unyielding passion for serving our customers, employees, and business partners shine through in everything he does.

Beth has a degree in design and color and has been in the industry since 2003. She possesses vast experience and expertise and sincerely enjoys sharing her comprehensive technical knowledge and outstanding design abilities with others.
Beth is a loyal resident of Anacortes. She embraces her community and her love of the water through her work in and around the waterfront.
Interior Designer
Alissa, a proud design school graduate and a native of our valley, has been creating beautiful and functional designs since 2003. She is known for getting the job done right.
For many years, her focus has been on new home construction and extensive remodels. She has an amazing ability to create beautiful designs while managing the many details important to customers and builders alike.
Commercial Sales
Larry has been in the industry since 1989—over three decades! His extensive experience has earned him the reputation as the “go-to” guy for all commercial and builder-related questions.
He has also been a licensed flooring contractor and an IICRC-certified expert in re-installation, carpet cleaning, upholstery cleaning, water damage, and carpet dyeing.
Design Consultant
Amanda is our resident Millennial and always on top of the latest trends! She began at MVCO in operations, learning the ins and outs of the industry, before becoming certified as a Design Consultant.
She has been living out her passion ever since, helping customers make their home dreams come true!
Cabinet Designer
Cecil, while a comic at heart, takes his cabinet designs very seriously. Born and raised in this community, he has spent over a decade in the cabinet business, inspiring homeowners and creating beautiful designs, even under budget constraints.
Always considering his customers' personality, style, and budget, Cecil loves the challenge of transforming visions into reality.
Interior Designer
Welcome our newest designer, Cathy! She has been working in Interior Design for over 25 years and is an IIDA Associate and LEED Green Associate.
